Whether a scented candle is safe or not to breathe all boils down to the fragrance used within the candle. Fragrance found in many store bought candles contain acute toxins and concerning chemicals. When burned, the release of these concerning chemicals, like benezene & toluene for example, occurs. These chemicals are commonly used in paint thinners and industrial adhesives. Our candles are made with 100% toxin free fragrance, ensuring a clean sustainable burn!

Soy wax is created using the oil of soybeans! The soybeans are first harvested through local soybean farmers. The soybeans are then washed, broken, de-hulled, then gently rolled into flakes. After the soybeans are rolled into flakes, the oil is extracted from the bean and hydrogenated. Through the hydrogenation process, fatty acids in the oil are turned in saturated fats, creating the flakey wax we know and love! The United States is responsible for the majority of the world's soybeans, primarily grown in states like Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana!
